RCC 21 Fabric of Our Lives with Linda

Hey ya'll, Linda McClain here and I'm crazy excited to host this week's challenge. Raid your sewing stash because this week we're asking you to add fabric to your projects. No fabric stash? That's okay. Do what I did and just rip up some old jeans or cut up a burlap sack.

I'm even more excited that we're being sponsored by Benzie Bazaar heirloom felt!

Oh honeys. I'm a huge, huge fan of this felt. Her Merino wool blend felt is like buttah! The colors are so rich and the fibers are so dense and smooth - it just glides through a die cut machine with perfect results. I'm so thrilled another crafter is going to get their hands on this special treat.

Renae has graciously donated 30 sheets of 6x9 inch felt to be had by one lucky randomly selected winner of this challenge!


Your creation can be anything from cards, journals, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings, anything will work! *** Just be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***

• Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge of the week. Any submissions made prior to the challenge date will be deleted. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
• Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC21) with a direct link back to THIS post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! (A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!)
